• New air conditioning systems to ensure a safe environment, and uninterrupted learning for students
• New fire panels to improve safety at all schools
• Construction of a new elementary school to address the rapid growth in the northwest part of our district.
• Land for a high school to ensure the district is prepared for future growth
• Renovation of aging facilities, to include construction of public restrooms for athletic facilities at our high schools, renovation of the aging auditorium at Dysart High School, the district’s original high school.

Nutrition Services stopped by our preschool classrooms today with a basket full of unique fruits and vegetables!
Our students loved discovering new foods, learning how they grow, and exploring new flavors.

Feed the Candy Monster! We need plenty of candy to make this night super sweet for everyone! Please drop off any candy donations you can make to the front office or to your child's teacher during conferences!

PTSA Scholastic Book Fair
The Scholastic Book Fair is back!
Did you know that every purchase directly benefits your school? Teachers will be setting up a schedule for their classes to visit the Book Fair during the week, and you can set up an online wallet for your student to purchase new books and other items! Set it up now!
Scholastic eWallet or order online to get your favorites there!
The Book Fair will be open to parents/guardians until 4:30 on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 4:30 - 6:00 pm on Thursday.

PreK Storytime!
Thank you Ms. Emily!
Storytime in preschool is always a highlight, but Ms. Emily takes it to a whole new level. Today’s featured read was "I am a Super Friend," and she had the room completely captivated with her playful, hands-on ways to bring social stories to life.
From learning how to share and take turns to discovering our inner "superpowers," our little learners are gaining big life skills every single day.
Thank you, Ms. Emily, for making learning about kindness and friendship so much fun!

Information about Prop 421
The Dysart Unified School District Governing Board has placed Proposition 421 on the November 3, 2026 ballot to maintain safe, functional learning environments, and support continued growth. The estimated tax impact to the community is $3 per month, or $36 per year.*
If approved, here are a few of the ways our schools and community needs will be supported:
- Replacement of aging air conditioning systems and fire panels
- Renovation of aging facilities
- Construction of a new elementary school
- Land for a high school

*Based on an estimated $0.17 tax rate on an average assessed home value of $215,435. Assessed value is determined by the Maricopa County Assessor's Office to calculate property taxes, and is not the same as the market value that a home would sell for. Tax rates are an estimate and are influenced by a variety of factors including Maricopa County assessed valuation fluctuations.

Math time = creativity time in Ms. Judd’s class!
Look at our kindergarteners turning geometric pattern blocks into amazing picture masterpieces!
The Brain Science: Research in early childhood math shows that hands-on shape play builds spatial visualization skills. Learning how small shapes fit together to form larger structures helps early learners understand part-whole relationships, a foundational building block for higher-level math and geometry! Way to go, mini-mathematicians!

Learning the Ropes with Mrs. Campbell’s Little Llamas!
Starting Kindergarten is a big transition, but our Little Llamas are already turning into pro students!
In Mrs. Campbell’s class, we’ve been hard at work practicing our everyday routines and procedures.
From learning how to:
Sit quietly on our carpet spots
Line up safely with "marshmallow toes"
Share supplies and clean up our centers
Raise our hands to share big ideas
Building these daily habits gives our llamas the confidence to learn, grow, and keep our classroom running smoothly! We are so proud of their hard work this week.

Our students are gathering facts about the desert tortoise as they tackle their very first writing paragraph of the year! Watching them analyze details, organize their ideas, and build their non-fiction writing skills has been incredible.
