Learning about Sound

Mrs. Deffinbaugh's class has been learning about sound.  We are experiencing sounds, making connections between sounds and the source of the sounds and differentiating between loud and quiet sounds.  We had to use our listening skills to hear spring sounds and try to guess what made the sound. We really liked the nature sounds!

Western Peaks Performs at the Festival of the Arts

Our Western Peaks Falcon Choir had a wonderful time performing at the Dysart Festival of the Arts this past Saturday! Our talented students proudly represented Western Peaks as they shared their music alongside many other incredible young artists from across the district. The festival celebrates the visual and performing arts with performances from choirs, bands, dance groups, and more throughout the day. We are so proud of our Falcon Singers for their hard work, enthusiasm, and beautiful performance. Thank you to our families and community members who came out to support the arts!
