School Year Calendars
According to Arizona law, school is in session for 180 days for all students. Dysart has a traditional-style school calendar. The process of setting a school calendar begins with a community committee, includes an opportunity for public input, and is ultimately approved by the district Governing Board.

- July 30 - Freshman Orientation
- July 31 - First Day for Students

- October 9-10 - K-8 Parent / Teacher Conferences (½ days for K-8)
- October 13-17 - Fall Break
- October 23 - CTE Expo
- November 4 - Band Jam
- November 6 - Future Freshman Night
- November 11 - Veterans Day (Observed)
- November 12 - Open Enrollment Begins
- November 24-28 - Thanksgiving Recess
- December 18-19 - High School Final Exams (10:30am high school release)

Students are dismissed early every Monday beginning Aug 4 to provide time for teacher professional development.
