Preschool Role Model
The Dysart Unified School District Preschool Program offers a developmental approach to learning which includes art, music, motor, pre-literacy and readiness activities for both typically developing students and students with identified needs. Role Models are typically developing students who have turned three or four years old by August 31 of the current school year. Tuition for Role Model students is $200/month (billed August-May) for the 2022-2023 school year. Students who reside within the boundary of a Title One School attend free of charge.
We are excited to offer a Role Model program to foster collaboration, development and tolerance at an early age. As we know, young children learn best from other children their same age. Role models serve as leaders for students in preschool classrooms with developmental disabilities. Role models participate as peer models, while learning, growing and developing school and life readiness skills as well.
Instruction provides all students the opportunity to learn about the special qualities of all children while interacting directly with each other in an environment structured with their cognitive, social/emotional and physical needs in mind.
Students eligible for Articulation Only do have the opportunity to enroll as Role Model students in our program at a discounted rate of $150/month and receive speech therapy services while attending the program.

How much is Preschool Tuition for Role Model Students?
Tuition is $200 per month and is billed August-May for students attending as role model peers. There is no tuition charged for students who reside within the boundaries of full Title One sites (designated with bold text and a * above).
Articulation-Only Students may attend the preschool program as Role Model Students at a reduced rate of $150/month. Articulation, Speech Services are provided during the preschool day.
