OVERVIEW
Asante Preparatory Academy is so excited to offer a robust Arts program at our school. All students participate in Music and Art classes as part of their special class rotations. Various Arts Clubs are available at different grade levels, including Kindergarten.
ARTS CLUBS OFFERED
Choir Club
Students in grades 3-5 can join Choir Club where they will focus on learning different types of choral music, sight-reading, correct singing techniques, and performance etiquette. The Asante Choir performs at school and district events and has a large concert once a semester.
Band Club
Students in grade 5 that participate in Band Club will experience an enriching and diverse instrumental music education by performing music of various genres and time periods. The group will perform concerts during the semester to demonstrate their learning of such music. The band helps to foster and promote music growth through the playing of an instrument by the student, at an appropriate level of difficulty.
Exploratory Arts Club
Asante will also offer a variety of exploratory arts clubs including Readers Theater, Disney Art Club, KPop Club, and Lego club to explore students' creative interests throughout the year!
