ABOUT PARENTSQUARE

We are excited to share with you that Dysart Schools will be implementing a new parent communication system called ParentSquare. Canyon Ridge, Countryside, Luke Elementary, and Valley Vista will be piloting the system during the Spring of 2024. All schools will be using the system beginning with the 2024-2025 school year. ParentSquare will replace our current system for school and district messages, and upgrade and add many additional features to help keep you informed and engaged with us. We are excited to introduce this new communication tool to you, and look forward to engaging with you on ParentSquare soon!

How to Set Up Your Account

You should have received a welcome email from us inviting you to activate your account. If you didn’t receive this email, please update your contact information in the Parent Portal and contact your school front office to have them resend the invitation.

UPDATING YOUR CONTACT INFORMATION & LANGUAGE PREFERENCES

Parents are asked to change their contact information in their Parent Portal, NOT PARENTSQUARE. If you need to update your email or phone number, please navigate to the Parent Portal and login. Once logged in, select the person icon in the top right and click on "SETTINGS."

After selecting "SETTINGS" choose "CONTACT PREFERENCES" on the next screen.

From there, you can edit your phone numbers and email address. If you prefer to begin receiving messages in a language other than English, you can also do that in the Contact Preferences in the Parent Portal. Once those are updated in your Parent Portal, they will sync to ParentSquare the next day.

How to Set Your Notification Preferences in ParentSquare

With ParentSquare you can set your preferences for how frequently, and where (email, text, app push notification) you receive notifications. You can choose once per day in a digest (combines all messages into one), instantly, or turn them off. Please note that due to the urgent nature of emergency alerts and notices, those will override your preferences.
