Riverview’s athletics program is designed to expose students to a wide range of competitive and non-competitive sports as well as the tools necessary for life-long health and fitness. Students will develop both athletic and leadership skills that can be utilized for life. Students also can participate in extracurricular sports including cross country (3rd-8th grade), basketball, softball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, and cheerleading. The Riverview Barracudas Girls Volleyball teamed earned the District Championship in the 2023-2024 school year.

Riverview School is part of the Dysart Schools Blue Region. The region comprises schools from the district. Regular season games will be played against teams in that region. At the end of the regular season, the top 6 teams in the Blue and Green Regions will come together and compete in the Dysart Schools Tournament to crown a champion. The top four teams from the Dysart Schools tournament will compete in the Northwest Valley Athletic Conference Tournament of Champions against the top teams from Peoria and Deer Valley Unified School Districts.
