At Sunset Hills we believe there is an art within athletics. We encourage students to try out for multiple sports throughout the school year and to participate in our P.E. Elective courses to help grow core skills to be used in their athletic endeavors. Our athletic program believes that we are stronger as a team and we take that mentality from our practices to our games. Our Bobcats are praised consistently for their sportsmanship and we couldn’t be more proud of that!

Our athletes can begin participating as young as 4th grade in Cross Country. The rest of our athletics program is open to our middle school students, grades 6 through 8.

Sunset Hills is part of the Dysart Schools Green Region. The region comprises schools from the district. Regular season games will be played against teams in that region. At the end of the regular season, the top 6 teams in the Blue and Green Regions will come together and compete in the Dysart Schools Tournament to crown a champion. The top four teams from the Dysart Schools tournament will compete in the Northwest Valley Athletic Conference Tournament of Champions against the top teams from Peoria and Deer Valley Unified School Districts.
