OVERVIEW

Willow Canyon High School is a comprehensive high school serving students in grades 9 through 12 in the Dysart Unified School District. Founded in 2003, Willow Canyon embraces a Winning Culture in academics, athletics and the arts. At WIllow Canyon, there are a variety of academic offerings that will challenge any student. Willow Canyon offers a world class education in its Cambridge International School and its International Baccalaureate World School. Additionally, there are career and technical programs in health services, technology and marketing.

Willow Canyon High School serves the communities of the Northwest Valley and is conveniently located on Bell Road just west of the 303 Loop.

Welcome to Willow Canyon High School

Willow Canyon High School is a 9-12 school that serves more than 1,600 students in Surprise and the surrounding area. Willow Canyon is a comprehensive high school that offers a variety of programs to meet students’ interests. Within those programs, Willow Canyon is able to challenge students of all abilities to prepare them for success.

At Willow Canyon High School students are provided extraordinary experiences in a variety of classrooms that meet their needs and interests. In addition to the general curriculum, Willow Canyon is home to the district’s only International Baccalaureate Programme and Cambridge International Programme. These classes provide students with a worldview across all departments.

At Willow Canyon High School the visual and performing arts play a central role. The arts give students the opportunity to nurture their creative sides, develop workplace skills and become involved in the Winning Culture. Students also have the opportunity to compete locally and across the country in many of our performing arts programs.
