Dysart Schools Calendar of Events

Dysart Unified School District invites community members to learn about Dysart, and tour several of our schools on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 8:00am to 12:30pm.  The event will begin at the Dysart district office Governing Board room, located at 15802 North Parkview Place, Surprise AZ 85374. Breakfast and lunch will be served, and attendees will hear an overview of the district from Dysart Schools Superintendent, Dr. John Croteau, and have the opportunity to ask questions throughout the tour.  Attendees will board a yellow school bus for a short trip to a few of our schools, including Dysart High School, Dysart Middle School, and El Mirage Elementary School. Patrons will get to hear from the principal at each school, and get a tour of the campus, including classrooms, from students and staff.  All business leaders, neighbors, parents, retirees, government employees, or interested people are invited to attend.  A limited number of seats are available for the tour, and will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. Parent/Teacher Conferences and Early Release will be held at all K-8 schools October 9-10.

Dysart Unified School District invites the community to a Job Fair on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 from 3:00-5:00p.m. at the Dysart Support Facility located at 13825 W Desert Cove Rd., Surprise, 85379. The Job Fair will feature a variety of employment options within Dysart Schools. High need areas include crossing guards, paraprofessionals, often referred to as classroom assistants, child care and preschool aide positions, maintenance positions, and bus aides. Interested candidates may walk in between 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Interested applicants can also apply online for any open positions at Dysart.org/Careers prior to or at the Job Fair.  Qualified candidates will be able to complete a screening interview on October 21. Prospective applicants should bring their current resume and be ready for a screening interview.

Dysart Unified School District invites parents and students to a Career and College Expo on Thursday, October 23 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at the Dysart District Office, located at 15802 N. Parkview Place in Surprise.  The expo showcases Dysart's Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, West-MEC, colleges and universities, and military representatives so families can explore opportunities to pursue in and after high school. This is a great way for 5th through 11th grade students and their parents to get hands-on with all of the career pathway classes and programs offered at Dysart Schools.
