Our school uses ParentSquare to connect with parents and share what’s happening in our schools and district. This platform allows us to communicate school and district messages to help keep you informed and engaged with us. The Parent Portal will continue to be your resource for grades, and Schoology for specific classroom resources and assignments.
Shadow Ridge High School received the 2024 National Blue Ribbon School award from the U.S. Department of Education for high academic achievement and progress in closing the achievement gap. Shadow Ridge is among only 356 schools across the United States and only 6 schools in Arizona to receive this recognition.
The Department recognizes schools based on student performance data including assessment results, student subgroup performance and graduation rates. Shadow Ridge was recognized for both performance categories, as an Exemplary High Performing School and as an Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing School. Exemplary High Performing Schools are among the top performers in their state as measured by state assessments or nationally normed tests, and Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing Schools excel in narrowing achievement gaps between different student groups and the overall student body.
