On April 2, the RVS Choir will have the exciting opportunity to perform the National Anthem at the Arizona Diamondbacks vs. Atlanta Braves game! Our students will join other Dysart School District elementary and middle school choir programs for this special pregame performance. 

 This event is also a fundraiser for our choir programs. For every ticket sold through our link, the choir will receive $3 per ticket.

 We encourage you to come out and support your talented singing Barracudas while enjoying a great baseball game! ⚾🎶

It’s Time to Complete the Annual Parent Survey!

Please remember to complete our annual Parent Survey if you haven’t already done so. We want to know what our district and school are doing well and how we can improve in the future. It should take about 5 minutes to complete and will be open through Sunday, February 15. Find it in English at www.dysart.org/survey and in Spanish at www.dysart.org/encuesta 

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on February 5th and 6th. Students will be released early at 1:00 PM on both days. There will be no preschool on these days. Please make sure you have signed up with your child’s teacher to schedule a conference.

Benchmark testing will take place Tuesday, January 27th, through Friday, January 30th for students in 3rd through 8th grade.

Kona Ice is coming to RVS on Tuesday, January 20th, 10:00am to 1:00pm! 

 Our RVS Dysart Community Coalition PTO will be bringing in Kona Ice during lunches!  It will be pre-pay only!  No cash will be accepted.  Orders are open now through 6 pm on January 19th.

In honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be no school on Monday, January 19. 

 We look forward to welcoming students back to school on Tuesday, January 20th. Thank you, and enjoy the long weekend!

School Resumes Janurary 6th and gates open at 7:55 am 

Welcome back to school! We hope you had a fun, relaxing, and safe Winter Break and are feeling refreshed and ready to learn. We are excited to see all of our students back on campus and ready for new lessons, new goals, and new adventures.

We can’t wait to see your smiling faces and kick off a great start to the new semester! 📚✨

Winter Break will be from December 22 through January 5. We hope our Barracudas and Barracuda families enjoy a well-deserved time to rest, relax, and spend time with loved ones.

School Resumes January 6th, gates will open at 7:55 a.m. Please be sure to arrive on time.

Have a safe, happy, and joyful Winter Break! We look forward to welcoming everyone back, refreshed and ready for the new year. ❄️✨

 Our band and choir will be performing their Winter Concert on December 8 at 6:30 PM at Dysart High School. We hope to see you there!

Book Fair: Get ready, Riverview! Our Book Fair will be rolling in from December 8–12. Students will have a chance to explore new stories and shop with their class during the school day. 

Don’t miss our magical Polar Express Night on December 10 from 5:00–6:30 PM! Come in your coziest pajamas, sip on hot cocoa, and enjoy sweet treats from our visiting treats truck. 

The library will be filled with cheerful activities, crafts, and a little holiday sparkle while you shop the book fair. We can’t wait to see you there for a fun and festive evening!

There will be no school the week of November 24–28. We hope you have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving! 

We are grateful for all our Riverview families and appreciate your support. 

School will resume on Monday, December 1st. Enjoy the break!

There will be no school on Tuesday, November 11, in honor of Veterans Day. 

We take this day to recognize and thank all the heroes who have served our country!
