Marley Celebrates Reading

Marley Park is doing something a little different to promote reading and literacy with students. As part of a movement across the nation called 'Rock Your School', the teachers decided to create an outside-the-box educational experience meant to deliver content in an extraordinary way. Middle School Baseball

El Mirage defeated Cimarron Springs 7-2 in middle school baseball action, moving the Tigers to 4-3 on the season and putting them in a position to make a run at a playoff spot. Cimarron Springs fell to 5-2 on the season but still maintains a one game advantage over El Mirage in Region 1 play. There are two more regular season games left before the playoffs begin. Constitution Day

Students from around the district are celebrating Constitution Day this week in a variety of different ways. White Tanks Invitational

Congratulations to Valley Vista High School, who won the White Tanks Invitational Girls Volleyball Tournament held at the school this past weekend. Slithering Science

Students in Mr. Macarle's 8th grade science lab Rancho Gabriela Elementary School have a few interesting pets in their classroom, including this red tail boa constrictor. Students learn about the animals while getting some hands on experience, if they're up for it! Photo Gallery

Average Teacher Salaries

With the Governing Board adoption of the new school year budget, the Dysart Unified School District is proud to announce the average salary of all teachers employed in FY 2019 is $47,933. As a comparison, the average salary of all teachers employed in FY 2018 was $43,744, an increase in average teacher salaries from the previous year of $4,189 or a percentage increase of 9.58%.
