Welcome back to another exciting school year at Ashton Ranch Middle School! 

I am deeply honored to serve as your Principal and to lead such a dedicated, passionate team of educators. Partnering with you to support the growth, well-being, and success of every student is a true privilege. As your Principal, I am fully committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-achieving environment where every student is empowered to reach their full potential. 

With over 23 years in education, including serving right here in the Dysart Unified School District since 2012, I bring a deep-rooted commitment to academic excellence. Having worked as a classroom teacher, school data improvement specialist, and administrator, I have seen firsthand that all students can thrive when we pair high expectations with meaningful support and a caring community. 

My own educational journey began at Northern Arizona University, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education, followed by a Master of Education in Bilingual and Multicultural Education and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. In 2017, I completed my Doctor of Education in Innovation and Leadership at Arizona State University. I am a lifelong learner at heart, and I carry that same passion for growth into our hallways every day. 

On a personal note, my family and I have proudly called Surprise home since 2002. Our three children are all graduates of DUSD and are currently pursuing their college degrees. When I am not at school, you can usually find me camping and enjoying the outdoors with my wonderful husband, David, and our amazing kids. 

Remarkable things are happening at Ashton Ranch, and I am incredibly excited for the journey ahead. Together, we will continue to build a vibrant culture of excellence, opportunity, and, above all, we’ll be Mustang PROUD.

Welcome back! I hope you and your family had a great summer and are ready for another exciting year at Ashton Ranch Middle School. 

As I begin my second year as assistant principal, I want to say thank you for making my first year such a great experience. It has been a privilege getting to know our students, families, and staff, and I'm looking forward to building on those relationships this year. 

Our goal is simple: to help every student succeed. Whether that's supporting them through challenges, celebrating their successes, or encouraging them to keep growing, we're here to help them have a great year. 

Thank you for trusting us with your children. I look forward to another fantastic year working alongside our students, families, and staff.
