Greetings Mustang Families and welcome to the 2023-24 school year!

I am honored to be provided the opportunity to serve you as the principal of Ashton Ranch Middle School.

As a native Arizonan, I earned my undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and my Masters in Educational Leadership through Northern Arizona University. Prior to joining Dysart, I taught in Peoria Unified School District. I have had the privilege of being a part of the DUSD family since 2005 serving as a teacher, instructional leader, assistant principal and principal. My ties are strong as my children are graduates of DUSD. Because of that I am vested and passionate in ensuring that all families have an amazing experience at Ashton Ranch.

I am thrilled to embark on this journey with you as we enter year three of Ashton Ranch Middle School.  As we continue to grow and evolve as a middle school our goal is to provide students the foundation to excel in high school and beyond. All students will be provided with the opportunity to excel in challenging academics and engage in a variety of  high-quality electives. With support from our families and as a school community we strive to cultivate a culture of being Mustang P.R.O.U.D.

As always, it’s a great day to be a Mustang!

Greetings, Mustang Families!

I am so excited for this upcoming school year at Ashton Ranch Middle School, and I am looking forward to working with our families and students as the new year begins. My boys and I have been a part of the Dysart Unified School District family for eighteen years, and I was a teacher in the district for eight of those.  My time in the district has included a variety of teaching positions in both general education and special education, and I am passionate about meeting the needs of each individual learner, and their family, and working together to guide them towards success.

I am an Arizona native  and enjoy spending time with my family in the warm desert sun.  I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Arts in Education, with dual certification in elementary and special education, and later continued my education as a Lumberjack to earn a Master's Degree in Educational Counseling. I then attended Grand Canyon University to achieve a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.

I sincerely believe that each child's education is as strong as the team that is supporting them, and that each team is stronger when we are working together. Please contact me with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. My email is jillian.linker@dysart.org, or you can call 623-523-8300. I look forward to working together to ensure your student's growth and success!

Warmly,
