AVID

AVID is a four-year international program designed to boost student performance and prepare participants for college success. It targets students in grades 9–12 who have the potential to succeed in rigorous courses but may need extra support to reach their full academic potential. 

What Makes AVID Unique? 

  •  💡 Rigorous Coursework: AVID students enroll in the school’s most challenging classes, such as Advanced Placement (AP). 
  •  ✏️ AVID Elective: Taken throughout high school, this elective course provides: 
    • Academic instruction and support to prepare students for eligibility and success at a four-year college or university 
    • Study skills & time management 
    • Note-taking strategies 
    • Test prep & college entrance exam support 
    • Critical reading & thinking skills 
    •  Inquiry-based learning & collaboration 
Who Can Join?

Enrollment is selective. Students must meet specific criteria and go through an application and interview process to join the program.
