The Dysart Unified School District and The Vista Center for the Arts are seeking artists in partnership with the City of Surprise, the West Valley Arts Council and Ground Floor Artists for a 9/11 tribute art exhibit.
The inaugural Surprise Mayor’s Exhibit: A Tribute To Our Heroes, marks the 20th anniversary of the tragedy of 9/11 and aims to reflect on how the heroes of this day have shaped, and continue to shape, our nation into one of support, togetherness, and collective endurance. Student submissions (ages 13-17) are free, and adult artist (18+) fees are $20-25.
