Dysart to begin open enrollment Dec. 10
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - 11/23/2021
The Dysart Unified School District is proud to offer our community a choice in school enrollment. Dysart will begin accepting open enrollment applications for the 2022-2023 school year on Friday, December 10, 2021. Parents or guardians who would like their child to attend a school outside of their residential attendance boundary for the 2022-2023 school year, must apply for open enrollment online at www.dysart.org/oe.
Parents whose students are currently open enrolled at the school of their choice will not need to reapply. However, open enrollment status is evaluated annually based on capacity, student’s grades, discipline, and attendance.
Open enrollment allows parents the opportunity to request that their children attend a Dysart school outside of their residential boundary area. This includes all Dysart Schools, including 12 K-8 elementary schools, 4 K-4 schools, 4 middle schools, Freedom Traditional Academy, and four high schools. Information on K-8 signature programs and academies may be found by visiting www.dysart.org/signature. Details about high school focuses and Career and Technical Education programs offered are available at www.Dysart.org/highschool.
The priority open enrollment period ends January 14, 2022. After this priority period, submitted applications will continue to be accepted and will be reviewed on a monthly basis as capacity becomes available.
Parents needing access to a computer to complete the open enrollment application may visit any district school or the front lobby of the Dysart District Office, located at 15802 N Parkview Place, Surprise, AZ 85374, during regular business hours.
