Website and Logo Updated to Better Serve Community

DYSART SCHOOLS - Dysart Unified School District has launched a new website (Dysart.org) and refreshed its logo just in time for the 2022-2023 school year. The goal with the projects was to better serve the community through updated and improved resources, and refresh the logo to reflect the community focus. 

The new website increases functionality and accessibility for users, and improves mobile navigation through responsive design. It features easy to use pages for parents, students, and the community, designed specifically for quick access to frequently-used links. The new School Finder (Dysart.org/SchoolFinder) makes it easy for the community to search for schools based on interests, programs or offerings to find the best match for their child, and the general search feature was improved to get users where they need to be faster. 

The new district logo holds on to some familiar elements, but better reflects a community focus, increases usability, and includes a more modern design. It incorporates softer colors and more rounded shapes for a more modern,  welcoming and friendly design. The size and shape of the figures are varied to reflect the range of ages and uniqueness of the community that Dysart serves. A graduation cap was maintained in the layout to represent the end goal of graduating students, and an additional educational element was included in the form of a book to further visualize Dysart’s purpose.

About Dysart Schools:  Dysart has been serving the Northwest Phoenix Metropolitan community since 1920, and now serves nearly 24,000 pre-kindergarten through 12th grade students.  The district encompasses 140 square miles, serving parts of El Mirage, Glendale, Surprise, Youngtown, and Maricopa County.  The district is home to four K-4 elementary schools, four middle schools serving grades 5-8, 12 K-8 elementary schools, four comprehensive high schools, a preschool, and one alternative program.
