Dysart Seeks Applicants for a Bond and Override Committee

DYSART SCHOOLS - The Dysart Unified School District is seeking parents, community members and staff who are interested in serving on a bond and override committee for the purpose of evaluating the district’s potential needs and making recommendations to the Governing Board.  

Interested individuals should complete the interest form at www.dysart.org/electioncommittee by October 5 to apply. Those selected will be notified by October 16. Applicants should be prepared to attend meetings on the following Tuesdays from 6:00-8:00pm: October 24, November 28, December 12, January 16, February 6, and March 5, as well as one meeting on a Saturday at a date to be determined by the committee. Committee meetings will be open to the public to observe, but only committee members will be permitted to participate. 

Dysart is committed to ensuring that there is representation from all areas of the district on the committee, including individuals with an affiliation to each school, as well as community members without a school or district connection. The committee’s final recommendations are expected to be presented to the Governing Board at a public meeting on March 14.
