Growing Minds Preschool to Celebrate Grand Opening

The Dysart Unified School District’s new Growing Minds Preschool program will be hosting a grand opening celebration and family fest on Monday, July 8. The day will start with a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house at 8:00 a.m. Later in the day from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., there will be a family fest featuring facility tours, games, raffles, and more. Guests will be able to meet the teachers, get details about the program, and register on site.

Growing Minds Preschool classes begin on July 15.  Half-day and full-day options are available with year-round hours of operation, including school breaks, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday to accommodate working families. Available for children ages 2-5, the preschool will focus on core academic areas as well as the arts and athletics. Creative expression and physical play will be embedded in all activities, with a hands-on learning experience that ensures children will love to learn and grow.

Growing Minds Preschool will not only guide the cognitive development, but offer positive exposure in an environment that is fun and exciting.  The Growing Minds Preschool experience will advance cognitive development and cultivate social and emotional development, building respect, resilience, teamwork, optimism, innovation, and self-esteem through positive interaction with classmates and teachers.  The Creative Curriculum will follow the Arizona Early Learning State Standards, allowing a child to initiate his or her own learning experience.
