Dysart Schools Tout New Signature Programs
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE — 9/20/2019
The Dysart Unified School District unveiled new Signature Programs at each of its elementary schools this year. High schools identified a school-wide focus to connect each of their existing Signature Programs to the campus-wide culture.
"Dysart's Signature Programs will provide unique learning experiences for students, create additional opportunities to apply academic learning in a real-world context, and build a shared sense of community and school ownership in each neighborhood," said Dr. Michelle Benham, Director of Innovation.
The Signature Programs were developed in partnership with the community, after receiving input on the learning experiences that would be of interest and value to their students. A list of Signature Programs is below. More information and details about each program can be found at Dysart.org/Signature.
