Community Invited to Donate on Tax Credit Tuesday

The Dysart Unified School District invites the community to drop off their tax credit donations on “Tax Credit Tuesday”. The event will take place on Tuesday, December 3 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at the Nathaniel Dysart Education Center, 15802 North Parkview Place, Surprise, and free tacos will be available for those that donate. Staff will be on hand to explain the program and share how tax credit donations are used. Donations will be accepted on-site via check, or computers will be available to make online donations using credit or debit cards.
Arizona Law (ARS 43-1089.01) allows married couples filing jointly a tax credit of up to $400 and individual taxpayers a tax credit of up to $200 when they contribute to public schools. This tax credit is available to anyone who resides in Arizona. Donations may be submitted through April 15 annually.
Contributions are donated directly to the schools, and all donations are used to support extracurricular activities for students or approved capital expenditures at the Dysart school of your choice. Donors may designate where their donation will go by selecting from four categories - Athletics, Fine Arts, Enrichment Programs, or School May Designate. We appreciate the support of our schools and students through the tax credit program.
