Dysart to form override and bond committees

The Dysart Unified School District is seeking parents and community members that are interested in serving on override and bond committees for the purpose of evaluating the district’s needs and making recommendations to the Governing Board. Interested individuals should complete the interest form at www.dysart.org/committees by February 6.
Those selected will be notified by February 7th and meetings are expected to begin the week of February 10, 2020 and run through March. Meetings will take place weekly on Tuesday or Thursday afternoons. The district is committed to ensuring that there is representation from all areas of the district on each committee. Final committee recommendations are expected to be presented to the Governing Board at a public meeting in April.
The Dysart Unified School District serves over 24,000 Preschool through 12th grade students on 26 campuses. The district encompasses 140 square miles, serving parts of El Mirage, Glendale, Surprise, Youngtown, and Maricopa County.
