Superintendent Named Honorary LAFB Commander

Dysart Unified School District is proud to announce that Superintendent Dr. Quinn Kellis was appointed as a member of the Honorary Commander Program by Brigadier General Gregory Kreuder, Commander of the 56th Fighter Wing at Luke Air Force Base (Luke AFB).
As an Honorary Commander for the 2020-2022 term, Dr. Quinn Kellis is recognized as an outstanding community leader and enthusiastic supporter of the mission of Luke AFB. Through this unique position, Dr. Kellis has committed to investing his time and resources into projects that will enhance the quality of life for Luke AFB personnel and their families.
“I am humbled and honored to serve as an Honorary Commander,” said Dr. Quinn Kellis. “Having grown up and raised my own family in the West Valley, I truly value Luke Air Force Base and what it brings to our community. I look forward to learning even more about the base and how our local Dysart school district can support our military families.”
The Honorary Commander Program enables members of the community to understand the importance of Luke Air Force Base, the Air Force, Department of Defense, and their military mission. It also enables military commanders and their units to learn more about the community in which they live.
