A-F School Letter Grades

Arizona Revised Statutes § 15-241 requires the Arizona Department of Education, subject to final adoption by the State Board of Education, to develop an annual achievement profile for every public school in the state based on an A through F scale. The system measures year to year student academic growth, proficiency on English language arts, math and science, the proficiency and academic growth of English language learners, indicators that an elementary student is ready for success in high school and that high school students are ready to succeed in a career or higher education and high school graduation rates.

The Dysart Unified School District was named an “A” rated district in the 2025 state accountability labels for the third year in a row. Within the district, 100% of Dysart’s schools earned an “A” or “B” rating, with 19 schools achieving an “A,” and 5 schools earning a “B.” Dysart had zero “C,” “D,” or “F” schools.

“Great things are happening in Dysart,” said Superintendent Dr. John Croteau. “We are seeing impressive results with student achievement due to our focus on effective teaching strategies, robust student support, and strong professional development for our staff. We are extremely proud to be able to serve our community with top-rated schools.”
