Ranger Readers Program

Ranger Readers Program

Hello Asante Families-

We are excited to announce the new Asante Ranger Reader Program that we are starting this year here at Asante!  The program is launching thanks to our amazing partnership with our PTO who has graciously helped to purchase all the amazing prizes for the program!  The purpose of the program is to help encourage our students to explore the world of literacy  to encourage your child to find joy in reading. The mission of the program is to turn “have to read” into “want to read” and the only way to get better at reading is to take the time to do it!  Here is how the program works:  Every time a student reads a book and submits a Book Slip that is signed by their parent or guardian they will receive points. The points will help them move up to the next level which gets them the new title and the next prize.

There are multiple levels for the Ranger Program with prizes which include:

  • Level 1 Rookie (50 points)- Pencil
  • Level 2 Trainee (100 points)- Bookmark
  • Level 3 Semi-Pro (250 points)- Bracelet
  • Level 4 Professional (500 points) - New Book
