Early Entrance Into Kindergarten
Dysart Schools offers a full-day kindergarten program which addresses developmentally and individually appropriate student development in three areas: cognitive, social and physical. Students typically must be five (5) years of age on or prior to August 31 in the school year for which they are applying to begin kindergarten. However, Dysart has established a process by which an incoming student who does not meet this age requirement, but will turn five prior to the end of the calendar year, can be evaluated for possible early entry into Dysart’s Kindergarten program. Details on the process and timeline are below.
Early entrance applications are closed for the 2024-2025 school year. Details for 2025-2026 applications will posted as soon as it is available.
