2026-2027 El Mirage School Goals

El Mirage sets school goals every year as part of the continuous improvement process. Our goals are based on input from the parent and staff surveys, school academic and safety data. We set three goals this year that will help our students, staff and school community continue to reach excellence.

  • GOAL 1 ACADEMICS: By May of 2027, (1) Increase AASA Scores by 3% (ELA 44% to 47%; Math 47% to 50%  (2) Decrease the number of students who are minimally proficient in ELA by 3% from 64% to 61%  (3)  Increase reading achievement for all K-2 students to 80% using the EOY DIBELS composite score.


  • GOAL 2 SAFETY:  By May of 2027, El Mirage will decrease the total amount of Physical Aggression, Disrespect, and Defiance referrals by 10% (55 to 50 referrals).


  • GOAL 3 CULTURE: By May of 2027, El Mirage will enhance school culture by increasing parent awareness on the correlation between attendance rates and academic achievement with an emphasis on decreasing ELMES Chronic Absenteeism from 29% (25-26 SY) to 26% (26-27 SY).
