Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)
Dysart participates in Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) at 11 sites which allows us to serve all students one free breakfast and one free lunch, regardless of their meal eligibility status.
The following sites now participate in Community Eligibility Provision (CEP):
- Countryside Elementary School
- Dysart High School
- Dysart Middle School
- El Mirage Elementary School
- Kingswood Elementary School
- Luke Elementary School
- Riverview School
- Surprise Elementary School
- Thompson Ranch Elementary School
- Valley Vista High School
- West Point Elementary School.
Your child(ren) at these schools will be able to receive one free breakfast and lunch without having to pay
a fee or submit a free/reduced application. Please submit an alternate income survey at
www.schoolcafe.com to take advantage of additional benefits; reduced testing fees, reduced athletic
fees, reduced college applications fees, reduced technology fees, Sunbucks, etc.
If your child(ren) does not attend a school that participates in Community Eligibility Provision, please fill out a free and reduced application at www.schoolcafe.com starting July 17th, 2024 for the upcoming school year.

When does CEP go into Effect?
CEP starts August 1st, 2024, and will remain in place for the 2024-2025 school year.
What schools qualify for CEP?
Countryside Elementary School, Dysart High School, Dysart Middle School, El Mirage Elementary School, Kingswood Elementary School, Luke Elementary School, Riverview School, Surprise Elementary School, Thompson Ranch Elementary School, Valley Vista High School, and West Point Elementary School.
My child's school is not on a CEP list. Can I still apply for free or reduced meal benefits?
Yes. Our meal pricing guidelines remain in effect at non-CEP schools. To fill out a Free & Reduced Meal application, please visit: www.schoolcafe.com.
My child(s) school is CEP-eligible. Do I still need to fill out a Free & Reduced Meal application for my child?
Free & Reduced Meal applications are no longer required or accepted at CEP schools or programs. To take advantage of additional benefits, please fill out an alternate income survey at www.schoolcafe.com.
What happens to the money in my child's account?
Students can use the funds in their meal accounts to purchase a second meal or a la carte items.
