A Message from the Principal

Hello Falcon Family!

As I begin my 14th year as Principal and my 30th year in education, I could not be prouder to lead our extraordinary Falcon Family. Alongside our incredibly dedicated teachers and staff, my goal every day is simple: to create a safe, dynamic space where our young learners receive outstanding education and thrive both academically and socially.

My path in education spans three decades across the classroom and school leadership—including 19 wonderful years right here in the Dysart Unified School District. I earned both my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Master’s in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Outside of school, I live in Surprise with my husband and our four lively Boston Terriers, and I'm the proud mom of two adult sons who serve as first responders.

Great schools are built on strong partnerships. I invite you to reach out anytime—working together is how we help every child reach their full potential. Here’s to an amazing year ahead!

A Message from the Assistant Principal

Hello Falcon Family!

It is my honor and privilege to serve as the Assistant Principal at Western Peaks Elementary School. As I begin my twenty-sixth year in education, I am excited to join the Falcon Family and work alongside our students, staff, and families to create an exceptional learning environment where every child can learn.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University, my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with a Reading Endorsement from Northern Arizona University, and my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University. Throughout my career in the Peoria Unified School District, I have had the opportunity to serve as an elementary classroom teacher, Reading Interventionist, Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal/TOA. These experiences have strengthened my belief that strong relationships, high expectations, and a commitment to continuous growth are key to student success.

I am thrilled to begin this new chapter in the Dysart Unified School District and become a part of the Western Peaks community.  I look forward to building meaningful relationships with our Falcon families and getting to know each of you throughout the school year. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions.  I am here to support you.

At Western Peaks, we are Respectful, Responsible, and Kind.  We will ensure high levels of learning for ALL.
