Studying, observing and curiosity

Mrs. Duran's class has been doing some cross curricular learning in Kindergarten this week. In reading their new vocabulary words to know were “study, observe, and curious” we’ve taken those words to our science unit where we have been observing our own alfalfa seeds grow. Students have shown curiosity by predicting what would happen to their plants as the days pass. Today students used a science tool to study the parts of their plant they then recorded their data in a plant journal.
