OVERVIEW

Nutrition Services will support our students and their education through fresh, wholesome food, a strong focus on nutrition and unparalleled customer service.

A full belly fuels a hungry mind! The Food Service Program is an essential part of the total educational program. Well-nourished students are better prepared to receive the instruction of the school day.

Lunch and breakfast are available at all schools. In addition to the daily entrees, salad bars and other food bar choices are available during the week. For information about our menus and other food bar choices, please see our Interactive Menu, which includes each food item offered as well as nutritional information.

Food Allergies

Dysart School District cannot guarantee that food served in the general lunch program are allergen free but will make all reasonable attempts to accommodate and limit cross-contamination for students with life-threatening allergies. It is ultimately the responsibility of the parent to decide whether the student will buy the modified meal or pack a lunch from home. Common Allergens are identified for each entree and are available for review on the Interactive Menu.

For Life-Threatening food allergies, meals from home are the safest alternative.
