Weekly Updates 1/30/23

Dear Asante Families- 

The Kids Heart Challenge program for grades K-5 is kicking off on February 1st! We are proud to support the American Heart Association and Be the Torch in the fight against heart disease and stroke! Students will learn how to keep their hearts happy and healthy through physical and mental wellbeing, while helping others with special hearts by raising life saving donations. Our goal is to have 100% of our school families join the team and learn Hands-Only CPR through Finn’s Mission. Don’t wait, get started TODAY! Students who join the team early AND students who complete Finn’s Mission will get recognized at our kick-off!

Here are some other important updates for the week:  

•  Yearbook pre orders continue at the price of $27.  To order, go to www.gradsyearbook.com. Yearbooks will be on sale through March. 
• The Asante PTO is in need of board members for next year.  Our amazing board has served for two years.  Elections will be in May 2023. If you are interested in a role, please email asanteptopresident@gmail.com.  If you have questions, email or feel free to call the office to talk to someone.  We need a full board to be able to continue the amazing events and fundraisers that have helped our school community! 
• Considering a tax credit donation?  You have until April for the 2022 tax year.  Click here to learn more or here to make a donation online.  
•  Monday is House Color Day, and Asante Spirit Day is Friday!
