Weekly Updates 8/28/23

Dear Asante Families-

Thank you for another wonderful week here at Asante!  Congratulations to our 8th graders for having the highest attendance rate last week at 99%! Attendance is such an important part of your child’s success here at school, so thank you for making sure they are here and ontime.  Here are the important updates for the week:

  • This is an important reminder that you cannot drop off your child in the parking lot in the morning. You must get out and walk them.  Officer McPhetters has also asked me to remind you that you must not use the handicap spaces unless you have a sticker or you will be cited. This includes to just drop off or pick up at arrival or dismissal.
  • Monday is House Color Day and Friday is Asante Spirit Day so wear your spirit shirts or black and gold! All this week, you can go to Culver’s on Bell Road and show this flyer and Culver’s will give 20% of the order total back to the PTO.  Anytime all this week!
  • Our boys’ baseball and girls’ softball games start this week, check the school calendar for details to support the Rangers!
  • There is no school on Monday, September 4th in observance of Labor Day.
  • If your child will be out,  please call the attendance line 623-523-8900 and press 1. Please make sure to leave the student name, grade and the reason for the absence.

Have a great week!

Emily Dean
