Weekly Updates 9/25/23

Dear Asante Families- 

We want to thank everyone who came out to our Literacy Night this last week! A special thanks to the Surprise Library, Jeff Ellison, our PTO, and all of our wonderful staff and student volunteers who made this event happen for our community!    

The end of September is upon us and parent/teacher/student conferences are right around the corner.  This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about your child’s progress and build a stronger home/school connection which is so important for student success.  We look forward to seeing you soon.  

Here are the important updates upcoming:  

• Picture Day is this Wednesday, September 27th!  To order pictures, please use the following link. 
• PTO is having a FUNdraiser at the new Jersey Mikes on 9/28 all day!  
• There are 1:00 dismissals on October 2nd, 5th and 6th for conferences.  
• There will be no school for Fall Break from October 9-13th.  Save the Date for Trunk or Treat on October 20th.  
• Check out the PTO website to reserve a Trunk spot, volunteer, or sign-up as a vendor here.  
• Monday  is House Color Day and Friday is Asante Spirit Day so wear your spirit shirts or black and gold!  
• If your child will be out,  please call the attendance line 623-523-8900 and press 1. Please make sure to leave the student name, grade and the reason for the absence.
