Weekly Updates 2/26/24

Dear Asante Families-  

February is coming to an end and it was an eventful month here for the Asante Community!  We want to thank everyone again for their support of their children through attending conferences, events, taking surveys for feedback, giving to our tax credit programs, and attending events! Our partnership between school and home is so critical and we thank you for your continued support.  

Here are the upcoming events and information:  

• PTO is hosting a FUNdraiser on Tuesday at Sonic on 15471 West Bell Road, which is at Reems and Bells Road from 5:00 to 8:00 PM.  
•  On Friday March 1st, 8th Graders will participate in the Homeroom Olympics in the morning from 8:30-10:00.  In the afternoon, 4th graders will participate in their field day from 1:00-2:30.  Students are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes, shoes, hats, and bring water bottles.If you have any questions, please email Coach P. - rachel.plitzuweit@dysart.org Thank you! 
• Save the Dates for our next PTO meeting which will be on Tuesday, March 2nd at 4:30 in the Media Center.  In addition, save the date for Kindergarten Showcase a night for incoming students enrolling in kindergarten for the 24/25 school year.  This will be on March 9th from 5:30- 7:30 PM on March 9th!  
• Yearbooks are on sale now for $30. Here is the  link  to order.   
•  If your child will be out,  please call the attendance line 623-523-8900 and press 1. Please make sure to leave the student name, grade and the reason for the absence.
