Weekly Updates 3/25/24

Dear Asante Families- 

We hope you had a wonderful Spring Break!  This week marks the beginning of state testing for some of our students here at Asante as our fifth and eighth graders begin their Arizona Science Assessments on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week.  We are so proud of our students our students and want them to focus on showing their personal best on each of their assessments.   In order to do so, please help them remember as they always should to get a good night sleep, get a good breakfast, and to bring their fully charged Chromebooks to school each day.  Our full testing schedule for students in grades 3-8 can be found here.  

Here is a list of upcoming events:  

• Our Girls’ and Boys’ Basketball Teams are starting their seasons and our Cheer Squad will out to cheer them on at home games!  
• STEM and Robotics Teams will be competing at Mountain View at 4:00 on Monday! 
• Next Tuesday, April 3rd Grades 3, 5 and 7 will take the state AASA Writing Assessment.  
• Next Wednesday, April 4th, Grades 4, 6 and 8 will take the state AASA Writing Assessment. 
• Final call for yearbooks!. They will be offline soon, so buy them while you can for $30!  Here is a link for the sales. 
• Don’t forget the attendance line to call your students out is 623-523-8903, or you can call 623-523-8900 and press 1. Please make sure to leave the student name, grade and the reason for the absence.
