Weekly Updates 4/15/24

Dear Asante Families- 

It is hard to believe we are in the final half of our final quarter of the year.  As we head into this final stretch of the year, we want to thank you all for your support through this year.  We are truly thankful for everyone who who has helped our school community in any way they have been able to whatever way that may have been this year: attending an event, making a donation, joining the PTO, ensuring great attendance by your child, making a tax credit donation, volunteering at an event, etc..  We have so many people to thank for this amazing year!  We also some great events yet to come this year.  Here are some of the most important to note:  

• This week our  5-8th grade will finish AASA testing Tuesday- Friday.  Please make sure they get a good night sleep, have a good breakfast, and have a fully charged Chromebook!  
• Save the Date for the Imagine, Design, Create Night on May 2nd from 5:00 to 6:45 PM. Come to this event where you can see the Surprise Police Drones and K9s, Phoenix Herpetological Sanctuary animals, Asante Artists, participate in amazing interactive rooms like Penny Spinners and Shark Tank, and see amazing performances from the Asante Choir.  In addition, there will be food trucks and so much more!  We hope you can join us! 
• Don’t forget the attendance line to call your students out is 623-523-8903, or you can call 623-523-8900 and press 1. Please make sure to leave the student name, grade and the reason for the absence.
