Weekly Updates 8/4/25 and Annual Student Update

Thank you for a wonderful and successful start to the school year! Our first two days together were filled with energy, excitement, and lots of smiling faces. We appreciate your partnership in helping make the beginning of the year so smooth and joyful. As we head into our first full week, here are a few important reminders: 

• Early Dismissal on Monday: Please remember that Monday is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 1:45 PM. 
• House Color Day – Monday: Monday is also House Color Day! Encourage your child to show their house pride by wearing their house color shirt. 
• Asante Spirit Day – Friday: Let’s wrap up the week with school spirit! On Friday, students are encouraged to wear their Asante spirit shirt or dress in black and gold. PTO Shirt Sales: If your child needs a house or spirit shirt, be sure to check the schedule this week for PTO shirt sales happening on campus. 
• Annual Student Update: Finally, please take a moment to complete your Annual Student Update in your parent portal. This ensures we have the most up-to-date and accurate information for your child. The PTO is holding a FUNdraiser this week August 4-8 all day at Jersey Mike's. We know dismissal can be a bit longer during the first few days as everyone adjusts to routines. 

Thank you for your patience and cooperation—we’ve already seen improvements, and we expect dismissal times to continue getting faster and smoother each day. We are so excited about the year ahead and grateful to be partnering with you. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue building a strong community together!
