Weekly Updates 9/29/25
We are excited to kick off our first Student Council Spirit Week! Here’s the schedule for the week:
Monday: House Color Day – show your house pride by wearing your house colors!
Tuesday: Crazy Hair Day – the wilder, the better!
Wednesday: PJ Day – come to school cozy in your favorite pajamas.
Thursday: Students dress like teachers & teachers dress like students – a fun twist for everyone!
Friday: School Spirit Day – wear your school colors and show your pride!
A big thank you to everyone who attended Literacy Night last Thursday! It was wonderful to see so many families joining in the fun, enjoying make-and-take activities, visiting the Surprise Library, and supporting our students’ love of reading.
In addition to Spirit Week, we are hosting an Attendance Competition Week! Regular attendance is so important for your child’s learning and success. Did you know that students who miss just 2 days of school each month can fall behind over the course of a year? Being at school every day helps students stay on track, build important habits, and fully participate in all the exciting activities we have planned. During this week, we will celebrate classrooms and students with the highest attendance, and we encourage all families to help their students be present each day to take part in the fun and friendly competition!
Parent-Teacher Conferences are next week, and we look forward to seeing all of our families. Please remember that we will have 1:45 p.m. dismissals on Monday, Thursday, and Friday this week.
Finally, our Book Fair will also be happening next week! This is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to explore new books and foster a love of reading. Please see the attached hours and information for details. Thank you for your continued support, and we can’t wait to see everyone participating in Spirit Week, attending school, and enjoying all of the fun activities we have planned!
With appreciation,
Emily Dean
