Weekly Updates 11/17/25

This time of year reminds us just how lucky we are to be part of such an amazing school community! We are so thankful for our wonderful students, caring staff, supportive parents, generous business partners, and our fantastic PTO. It truly takes a team to make our school such a special place to learn, grow, and have fun—and we couldn’t do it without all of you! 

Just a friendly reminder that there will be no school from November 24–28 for Thanksgiving Break. We hope you enjoy your time off celebrating, relaxing, and making memories with friends and family. We can’t wait to see everyone back after the break! 

You probably already saw the message from Dr. Croteau this week, but we’re also grateful to share that Dysart Unified School District voters approved the continuation of the 2025 Budget Override—thank you for your amazing support! While the bond measure did not pass, we truly appreciate everyone who took the time to vote and show their commitment to our schools and students. The continued override funding allows Dysart to keep providing outstanding educational opportunities for all students. This support helps us retain exceptional teachers and staff, strengthen math and reading programs, maintain manageable class sizes, and continue offering Arts, Physical Education, Athletics, and full-day Kindergarten. Overrides are approved for seven years and can be renewed in year four or five to maintain steady funding.
