I am thrilled to welcome you to another exciting school year at Freedom Traditional Academy!  As the principal, it is my honor to lead a school with such a rich tradition of education, dedication, and community spirit.

We achieve this by fostering a safe environment where every student feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. We emphasize the importance of strong character and community involvement, teaching our students the values of kindness, respect, and perseverance.  We are fortunate to have a vibrant and supportive community that plays a vital role in our school’s success. Greetings Firebird Families! 

It is an honor to introduce myself to the Freedom Traditional Academy community! My name is Amy Crow and I am excited to join the team of students, teachers, and staff committed to preparing our students to be successful, productive citizens and lifelong learners. 

 I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree and earned my teaching certificate from the College of Education at Arizona State University. Later, I completed my Master of Arts with a focus in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Carolina, Greensboro. I recently returned to Arizona State to start another Master's degree, this time, in Educational Leadership, so FORKS UP!  This is my 19th year in education. I started my teaching career building a dance program and coaching Spiritline at Valley Vista High School. Then, I moved into a coaching role as a Teaching and Learning Specialist and most recently, served as an Interim Assistant Principal at El Mirage Elementary. So while this is a new position for me, it is one that I am sincerely excited and prepared to embrace.   I passionately believe that every child deserves a well-rounded education where they can focus on developing citizenship, academic excellence, and the practice of becoming a lifelong learner. It is a privilege to be a part of your child’s educational journey as an advocate as they soar to success. I am sincerely delighted to be a Freedom Firebird!
