Flag Ceremony
To encourage patriotism and enhance school unity, spirit, and pride, Freedom Traditional Academy will hold classroom and school-wide flag ceremonies.
Classroom Ceremony: Each day students will be involved in a daily patriotic activity, which will include the Pledge of Allegiance and a Moment of Silence. Each classroom may also choose to sing a patriotic song or to recite a patriotic poem. 4th through 8th grades will recite the Preamble of the Declaration of Independence.
School Ceremony: Every Tuesday of the week, there will be a school-wide flag ceremony. During this ceremony, the National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, Moment of Silence, and announcements will be held.
School and Family Ceremony: On the first Tuesday of each month, families are invited to attend a school-wide flag ceremony. During this ceremony, the National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, Moment of Silence, student recognitions, and announcements will be held.
