Student Council

Purpose: This is a student leadership group for grades 5-8 who work to promote school spirit and student voice in decision making.

National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)

Advisor: Mirsada Karlovich and Kimberly Chavez

Purpose: The purpose of this chapter shall be to create an enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote worthy leadership, to encourage the development of character, and to foster active citizenship in students. NJHS is for students who are inducted in grades 7 and 8.

News Crew

Advisor: Kayleigh Davis

Purpose: Students will create daily school announcements. This club is open to students in grades 5-8.

STEM Challenge Team

Advisor: Armina Suljic and Jill Stakemiller

Purpose: Students will work on STEM challenges to solve real problems and will compete in a regional competition. The club is open to students in grades 5-8.

Mathletes

Advisors: Nicole Card, Yesenia Fierro, and Julie Spindler

Purpose: Students will work together in teams to accomplish math tasks and will compete in a regional competition.

Yearbook

Advisor: Mario Mendez

Purpose: Students will design and create the yearbook for the school. The club is open to students in grades 5-8.

FTA Choir/Honor Choir

Advisor: Alfredo Bedolla

Purpose: Students will meet to practice for performances throughout the year. The club is open to students in grades 5-8.

FTA Orchestra

Purpose: Students will meet to practice for performances throughout the year. The club is open to students in grades 5-8.

Lego Club

Advisor: Katherine Siles

Purpose: Students will use collaboration and communication skills by working in teams to solve Lego Challenges. The club is open to students in grades 3-8.

Art Club

Purpose: Students will hone in on their creativity and learn develop art techniques. The club is open to students in grades 3-8.

Post Office

Advisor: Suzanne Maves

Purpose: 5th grade students will interview for positions in our Post Office. They will deliver collect and deliver mail every week. This club is one way students and staff members communicate to one another.
