Roving Chef at Luke
Luke Elementary School students got a special treat to kick off their Fall Break. Twelve students participated in the Roving Chef program hosted by our Nutrition Services Department. The students learned how to make homemade calzones with the help from Chef Scott. The students were chosen to participate for exceeding expectations and for positive behavior. The group added toppings to their calzones and took a tour of the kitchen while their lunch baked in the oven. The students got a chance to thank the cafeteria staff for making sure they always have a tasty and healthy breakfast and lunch.
