STEAM Buddies

MVS plans for the STEAM Buddy days with a focus on STEAM and having students learn through real world hands-on activities that engage their mind and bodies in learning. Through the Engineering Design Process our students learn by having cross-curricular, real world and meaningful ways of learning through critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication.

MVS STEAM Buddies takes place each quarter at MVS to create learning across all grades with students being paired up with another MVS student at a different grade level to learn all about STEAM. Through the learning the partners will engage in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics activities that push their thinking and get them excited to learn!
