Academic Recognition

Honor Roll & Principal's List

  • All students have the opportunity to achieve Honor Roll or Principal's List
  • Honor Roll Requirements:  3.5 - 3.99 Cumulative Weighted GPA
  • Principal's List Requirements:  4.0+ Cumulative Weighted GPA
  • Students will be recognized for their accomplishments from the Fall or Spring Semester of that year
  • Certificates will be presented in class during 3rd hour Announcements
  • All reports pulled from records based on District Office Standards

Academic Letters & Bar

  • 10th Grade Letter:  4.0 Cumulative Weighted GPA from 9th grade
  • 11th Grade Letter:  3.9 Cumulative Weighted GPA from 9th & 10th grade
  • 12th Grade Letter:  3.8 Cumulative Weighted GPA from 9th, 10th, & 11th grade
  • Student must have been enrolled with SRHS from the beginning of the year to the end of the year
  • All reports pulled from records based on District Office Standards
  • Formal Awards Ceremony will be held during the school year and broadcasted by the SRHS DSB team

Top 1% for Seniors Only

  • Will receive a pin during Awards Ceremony
  • Formal Award Ceremony in February that is broadcasted by Mr. Offi and the SRHS DSB team
  • After 7 completed semesters, Senior students will be recognized for their Cumulative Weighted GPA of a 3.0 and higher, passing of the TSA in a Career Technical Education (CTE) program, completion of a West Mec program, and those enlisted in the Military.
  • Formal Awards Ceremony will take place in May during the evening and will be broadcasted by the SRHS DSB team.
  • Gold Cord - Students with a Cumulative Weighted GPA of a 4.0 and higher
  • Black Cord - Students with a Cumulative Weighted GPA of a 3.5 - 3.99
  • White Cord - Students with a Cumulative Weighted GPA of a 3.0 - 3.49
  • CTE/West Mec Cord - Students who pass the TSA Exam or meet West Mec requirements
  • Military Recognition - Those students who have enlisted and can show proof of their enlistment will be recognized.  If a student uses a Military Rep outside of Shadow Ridge, they will need to let their Rep know so they can contact Shadow Ridge and be recognized at the Senior Awards Night.
