Valley Vista High School Military Supports & Resources
Welcome to Valley Vista High School!
On behalf of Valley Vista High School, an A-rated 9-12 school located in the Dysart Unified School District, we express our gratitude to you and your family for your service to our country and extend a warm welcome to Luke Air Force Base.
We are privileged to support your children and assist your family as you transition into our community. This webpage provides links to resources that can facilitate a smooth transition. As part of the approximately two million military-connected children in the U.S., your student will be among 15,000 school-age children from active-duty families residing here in Arizona. Whether your Permanent Change of Station brings you to Glendale or nearby areas, or if you are deployed and your children are enrolled in our school, we are dedicated to making your experience with us rewarding and enriching.

Getting Started at Valley Vista
We are thrilled to introduce the Student Ambassador Program at Valley! This initiative is available to students in grades 9-12 and offers training aimed at fostering leadership among students in our school community. Ambassadors play a vital role in assisting military-connected students as they transition to Shadow Ridge, organizing quarterly Military-Connected Meet and Greets, and volunteering at a variety of school events during the year. Interested students can participate by reaching out to Larissa Scott at larissa.scott@dysart.org.
