West Point Thespians
West Point prides itself in providing opportunities for students in the performing arts. Our long-standing tradition of a school musical will continue with our thespian club. While this year’s play has yet to be announced, auditions will take place in the fall. Students in 5th-8th grade are welcome to audition for speaking roles and 3-4th grade are open to join the ensemble.

Building leadership is one of the goals for our students at West Point. Student Council is one way for students to have a voice in the activities and events at West Point. Elections take place in the fall and are open to 7th and 8th graders to run for a student body position. Each class in 5-8th grade will hold class representative elections.

At West Point our core values are that we are safe, productive, always responsible, respectful and kind. SPARK Champions are students who are nominated by their teachers for exemplifying these values. As a SPARK Champion, students will be given opportunities around West Point to gain additional leadership skills. This might include being a mentor to a younger student, welcoming new students to West Point, assisting in kindness activities, hall monitoring, recess monitoring, and campus beautification. Nominations and club meetings will begin in the fall.
