Luke Elementary School remains in a modified lockdown, but dismissal will continue on the normal schedule. However, students that normally go through the Luke Air Force Base gate will not be able to do so at this time, and parents should plan to pick up their children from the front of the campus. B...
A Modified Lockdown is initiated when there may be a danger outside of the buildings or off campus. Students and staff are moved (or remain) in classrooms and perimeter doors remain locked, including the front office. Classroom instruction continues as normal. Law enforcement will typically notify administration when the ‘All Clear’ can be given.
